Scholarship Awards, 2006 - 2007For
the school year 2006-07, the Minnesota Surveyors and Engineers Society
awarded 34 scholarships totaling $50,000 to 16 engineering students at
the University of Minnesota, 11 at North Dakota State University, four
at Minnesota State University, Mankato and two "at-large" awards to a student
at Iowa State University and one to a student at University of North Dakota.
We also gave scholarships to one land surveying student at Saint Cloud
State University. All are interested in Minnesota's transportation industry.
Those at U/M included one Palmer & Myrtle Ulland/NAPA/ MAPA/MSES Scholarship,
one Leslie & Adeline McGray/Commercial Asphalt/NAPA/MAPA/MSES Scholarship,
and one James & Sharon Weinel Scholarship.
