In Memoriam: Gerald “Gerry” Forkrud

It is with deep sympathy that we inform you of the passing of Gerry Forkrud, long-time friend of MSES, CPAM and the concrete industry. Gerry passed away on June 21, 2011.
There will be visitation on Sunday, June 26, from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Washburn-McReavy Werness Brothers Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN 55431, 952-884-8145, and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 27, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55409, 612-312-3400.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Surveyors and Engineers Society (MSES) Scholarship Fund (651-343-9525) or the University of Minnesota Medical Center for kidney transplant research (612-625-1440). Donations may be made online via the links below.
We extend our deepest sympathies to the Forkrud family and friends during their time of grief. Please join us in remembering them all in your thoughts and prayers.
